New Braunfels Farmers Market – Every Saturday, 9am to 1pm

Photos with Cowboy Kringle – Various Dates from November 20 to December 19

Bring the family, and even your dog, to take photos with Cowboy Kringle, the Gruene Historic District's own unique Santa Claus! Santa's Ranch – November 5 through January 2

42nd Annual Caroling on the plaza - December 10

Our beautiful city gathers around the historic gazebo and downtown Christmas tree as we light candles, celebrate the season, and sing in unison to Christmas favorites. Come out and enjoy performances from local art organizations!

North Pole Village - December 9-11, 16-18

At this fun and festive event, kids can write letters to Santa, play at the petting barn, adopt a free stuffed toy at the toy workshop, get their face painted, decorate cookies, and more! Learn more or sign up to volunteer on the CCRC's website.

Wassailfest is an event that families look forward to every year! Businesses and streets close at 6pm and the streets line up with people eager to sample wassail (both "leaded" and kid-friendly) and enjoy other activities and festive snacks. Visit the City's website for more information.

The Annual Festival of Trees is a free, family-friendly event in Gruene. Kick off the Christmas season by strolling through aisles of more than 30+ beautifully decorated trees and wreaths.

Weihnachstsmarkt – Weekend Before Thanksgiving

Pronounced Vy-noks-markt, this New Braunfels tradition offers the charm of open-air Christmas markets of Germany, except indoors. The market features more than 60 merchants and artisans with unique German collectibles and ornaments, holiday decorations, apparel, jewelry & gifts.

Downtown Holiday Lighting

Ring in the holiday season with us in New Braunfels! After the Mayor officially lights up downtown with a hundred thousand twinkling lights, Santa arrives on a vintage fire truck to spread holiday cheer and take photos with the kids.
