The Hill Country Coast is our name for Canyon Lake and the recreational attractions that line the banks of the Guadalupe River between New Braunfels and Canyon Lake.

Canyon Lake

Canyon Lake, the Water Recreation Capital of Texas, is only 15 minutes from Interstate Highway 35 or from Highway 281. Scenic, winding roads lead you into the natural surroundings on your way to this water recreation hotspot. Canyon Lake boasts 80 miles of shoreline, including beaches, boat launches, parks, campgrounds, and private residences. Overnight visitors enjoy many accommodations on the lake, ranging from tent camping to plush bed and breakfasts.

River Road

Historic River Road is a Texas Hill Country destination in itself! River Road runs alongside the Guadalupe River between Canyon Lake and Gruene/New Braunfels and is lined with beautiful Cypress trees. The aptly named River Road features four river crossings as it winds its way along the Guadalupe River.
