Like tubing down the river, with a soft breeze on a sunny summer day, Slow River Blend is a smooth, easy-drinking, blended whiskey.
THE PROCESS
That’s right, like Hefeweizen beer. Distilled from Texan and Midwestern winter wheats macerated with lemon peel and clove buds. Aged between 3 and 5 years, it is 100% natural, 100% craft, and 0% WONF (With Other Natural Flavors.)
WHAT IS WONF?
In case you’re wondering about WONF, it’s meant to sound natural, but is actually chemically derived from plants or animals to mimic a real flavor that would be more expensive to add. No worries. No WONF, not here, not ever!

Fill your favorite glass with ice.
Pour 1 1/2 ounces of Slow River Blend over the ice
Add 5 ounces of Dr. Pepper
Well, let’s add another 1/2 ounce of Slow River Blend
Top with Dr. Pepper
Stir if you want
Garnish with a Slice of Lemon
Comal Carajillo
Brew a double-shot of espresso
Pour into a coffee cup
Add 2 ounces of Slow River Blend
Add 1 ounce of Agave Nectar
Grate fresh cinnamon on top
Stir it all up with a cinnamon stick or small spoon
THE spirit of new braunfels
We’re a group of New Braunfels friends who love this town. The music, the people, the rivers, and of course the spirit. And we wanted to pay tribute to the German pioneers who, in 1845, settled here where the Comal and Guadalupe rivers meet. Without them, New Braunfels wouldn’t be what it is today. So as a thank you, to those intrepid spirits, we created a family of celebrated spirits and named it Bahnbrecker, which means trailblazer in German.
Our first release is a Hefeweizen whiskey called Slow River Blend. But stay tuned, there are more trailblazing Bahnbrëcker products coming soon.
