Fall Festival Foods In New Braunfels

Raise your hand if your favorite part of visiting New Braunfels in the fall is chowing down on pork schnitzel, Kartoffelpuffers, fried Oreos, and sausage-on-a-stick! 

Many fall festivals may have been canceled, but the food hasn't been! Don't get your lederhosen in a bunch or cancel your trip – you can still enjoy your favorite German treats when you visit New Braunfels. This page will be regularly updated throughout October, November, and December.

Check out the following events and locations for your chance to feast on your favorite fall festival foods.

German Food Fest featuring CCSCF's Famous Pork Schnitzel

What: A take-out menu featuring sausage on a bun with sauerkraut, pork schnitzel with German potato salad, beer-battered chicken wings, apple strudel, and German chocolate cake.
Where: Comal County Senior Citizens Foundation @ 655 Landa Street, New Braunfels, Texas 78130 (Take-Out Only)

Decktober Fest at Bubba's Big Deck

What: Pork chop on a stick, sausage on a stick, roasted corn, fried Oreos, funnel cakes, and Dunkle Warsteiner beer on tap – plus live music, vendors, and games!

Potato Pancakes by the Rotary Club of New Braunfels

What: Potato Pancakes, with or without sausage.
Where: McKenna Events Center @ 801 West San Antonio Street, New Braunfels, Texas 78130 (Drive-Thru Pick Up)
When: Saturday, November 7th from 11:30am - 7:00pm & Sunday, November 8th from 12:00pm to 7:00pm

Oktoberfest at Fiddler's Gruene

What: Traditional German food, German bands, and plenty of beer and spirits!
Where: Tavern in the Gruene @ 830 Gruene Rd, New Braunfels, TX 78130
When: November 13-15 from 2:00pm - 9:00pm
How: Purchase tickets for $5 here. Onsite parking will be $10 (cash only) and proceeds from parking will go to local nonprofits.

Kaffee Haus: Pick-Up or Pic-Nic on the Grounds

What: The old favorites of koch kaese, potato soup, and brats will still be available, as well as big pretzels!
Where: Old Town at Conservation Plaza @ 1300 Church Hill Dr, New Braunfels, TX 78130
When: November 9-13 from 11:00am - 1:00pm
How: Call (830) 629-2943 to place your order in advance. When you pick up your order, you can take it to go or enjoy it at a picnic table at Conservation Plaza.

Wurst Haus at The Pour Haus and Downtown Social

What: Food vendors, live music, German-style beers, stein hoist competitions, lederhosen, and much more!

NBFFA Halloween Fundraiser

What: Sausage and pork chops on a stick. Plus trick or treating!

New Braunfels Little League Pork Chop on a Stick

How: Drive thru line will start at the Grant Street entrance and exit on Common Street. Must use QR code on their website and Facebook for orders -- no cash!
