The class is divided up into two parts and is specifically designed to be first active and then to relax and destress. This is a one hour FREE CLASS for active, retired, veteran, and their family.
The first part consists of a guided physical yoga practice and anybody can participate, poses are modified, blocks or straps are used to enable every participant to practice. The practice focuses on breath, movement, core strength, and concentration. This is the perfect prelude to meditation, relaxation and to destress.
The second part is a Yoga Nidra guided meditation and is a deep physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. During Yoga Nidra the practitioner seems to be asleep, but the consciousness is functioning at a deep level of awareness.

Decreased PTSD symptoms and improved functioning by helping individuals tolerate physical and sensory experiences associated with fear.
