An excellent writer blessed with a rich, soulful vocal delivery, and an array of guitar chops drawn almost equally from Texas blues, Memphis soul, and Southern rock traditions, Parnell is part of a long line of Texas roots-music legends. After launching his solo career, Parnell released hits including “A Little Bit of You,” and “What Kind of Fool Do You Think I Am.”
Texas-born singer-songwriter, Seth James, plays a rugged, unabashedly and assertive blend of blues, country, rock, and Americana. From the vivacious crosspiece of his newest album’s opening track Brother, and his catchy-danceable, That’s How You Do It, to the soulful sentiment of Little Angel, James conveys heartfelt emotion, unfaltering conviction, and homespun appeal.
